ROWAN AUTHORITIES HAVE ALSO NOT SHARED ANY SUSPECT INFORMATION BUT SAY THERE IS NO THREAT TO THE CAMPUS OR SURROUNDING COMMUNITY IN GREENVILLE, POLICE ARRESTED A MAN ACCUSED OF SHOOTING AND INJURING AN OFFICER DURING A STANDOFF. The national mpox outbreak started in late May 2022 and peaked from July to August 2022. A total of 703 cases were reported in North Carolina in 2022, with only nine cases being reported in 2023.
