Teenagers across Central Florida are having trouble finding jobs as the summer approaches due to COVID-19.

“I think that there is a lot more difficulty than there was before because of the pandemic,” said Jake Lienhart, a teenager looking for work.

“Help your parents clean out the garage, and why I say that is because there’s probably a lot of stuff in there that they’ve been wanting to get rid of that you can sell online,” said Casey Hasten, a corporate recruiter.

Jobs like mowing the lawn, babysitting and dog walking are options teens should consider until the job market opens back up.Teenagers need to be creative if they want to make money over summer break due to COVID-19
