The aptly named ‘Pride IPA’ is a brew that is ideally designed for warm weather enjoyment. A genuine West Coast-style IPA, this particular brew offers gently pleasing aromas of grapefruit and tropical fruits of other varieties, with arboreal hints of pine and citrus-spiked lemon completing the flavor profile alongside a balanced amount of hop-drawn bitterness.
Interestingly, the beer, can design and decision-making around where to direct proceeds of sales were taken with the input of Buoy Beer Company staff who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community. “This involvement, as well as sales from the beer benefiting a local organization supporting queer youth, is a step in the right direction for diversity and inclusion to grow and prosper at Buoy and within our community,” noted Buoy’s quality assurance lead Amy Still.
