The new game development studio ‘S-Game’ announced its debut title ‘Phantom Blade Zero,’ a thrilling hack and slash RPG coming to PS5 and PS4 consoles in the future. The game is essentially a passion project of the creator, Qiwei (Soulframe) Liang, turned into a large-scale title. The game development journey for Liang began in 2020 with the title ‘Rainblood: Town of Death,’ a small indie game.
Phantom Blade Zero is a large-scale, semi-open world punishing game with a dark, steampunk, and Chinese cultural design. The gameplay in Phantom Blade Zero is fast and difficult. In the trailer, the player is shown combating large dragons, legions of swordsmen and ninjas, and more. The player is shown with impressive skill in parrying, dodging, and striking with swords.
